Members of the MetNY RFU have been working, for months, on creating an economic impact study on rugby in NYC. This report, amongst other things, shows what rugby brings to NYC in terms of money, people and tourism. The study is currently being used to approach city officials to bolster interest in the game, understand that the sport is growing and liaise with them to build more rugby fields in NYC. The MetNY would like to thank Toby Butterfield, Kieran Holohan, Dave Martin, Ted Perkins and Troy Benson for their effort and dedication in the creation of this valuable report.
